Vince Neil Avoids Jail Time In Battery Case

Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil has struck a deal to avoid jail time in connection with a misdemeanor battery charge releated to an incident where he allegedly assaulted an autograph seeker. The alleged victim told police that Neil came up from behind and grabbed her by the hair.

Neil's lawyers appeared in court for him October 19 and pled guilty to misdemeanor battery. Neil will have to pay $1,000 and spend six months on informal probation. He's also been ordered to undergo impulse control counseling.
