Three Things You Need to Know on June 25th

Today in New York, convicted drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman will be sentenced. The former head of Mexico's Sinaloa drug cartel faces life in prison after being convicted in February of drug trafficking and murder conspiracy charges.  Prosecutors say El Chapo led an organization that smuggled tons of drugs into the U.S. El Chapo was extradited to the U.S. from Mexico in 2017 following a second prison escape.  

More than 300 migrant children have been moved out of detainment facilities with unlivable conditions by the federal government. NBC News confirms the children were moved from a facility in Clint, Texas to a tent detention camp in El Paso.  Attorneys who visited the Clint Border Patrol station say older children were trying to take care of infants and toddlers.  

A sixth person is being cited in connection with the recent brawl at a Lakewood youth baseball game.  Police identified suspect Ean Vigil yesterday.  He was caught on video throwing punches at the June 15 game at a local elementary school.  Vigil was known as the man in a white shirt and teal shorts investigators had been looking for.  He was cited for disorderly conduct.  Police are thanking the public for all their tips in connection with the investigation.  Additional people could be cited.
