Three Things You Need to Know on July 1st

President Trump is returning to the United States after a history making trip. On Sunday, Trump became the first sitting U.S. president to step onto North Korean soil when he met Kim Jong Un in the demilitarized zone between the two Koreas. After the historic moment, the two leaders returned to the South Korean side for a closed-door meeting, the third in just over a year.

E-cigarette users will be treated just like smokers as a new Colorado law goes into effect banning vaping in most indoor public spaces.  The law going into effect today bans vaping and e-cigarette use in areas where smoking is already prohibited.  The new law also extends a ban on any kind of smoking in the area around an entryway from 15 to 25 feet.  Vape and tobacco shops must also now post signs saying no one under the age of 18 is allowed inside. 

The Rockies will be well represented at the All-Star Game in Cleveland.  Colorado will send shortstop Trevor Story, outfielder Charlie Blackmon, outfielder David Dahl and Nolan Arenado to represent the National League.  Arenado will start the game.
