March 11, 2016
The organizers of Record Store Day have lined up an array of exclusive releases for the annual retail event, set for April 16. Independent music stores this year will be offering unique releases from David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Metallica, Johnny Cash and others.

David Bowie will release a trio of vinyl releases, including a picture disc of the late singer's 1970 album The Man Who Sold The World.

Bob Dylan's exclusive is a 7-inch EP titled Melancholy Mood that was previously available only in Japan.

Metallica will serve as Record Store Day ambassador and will release a live CD of their 2003 Paris performance at the Bataclan to raise money for charity.
