ANOTHER Colorado Toll Road?? Come on, man!

August 16, 2018

3 things you need to know for Thurs Aug 16, 2018

1.      President Trump has revoked the security clearance for former CIA Director John Brennan. Hmmm......

A statement read on behalf of Trump by White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said that Brennan "has a history that calls his credibility into question." It also claimed that the former CIA director has been "leveraging" his clearance and making "wild outbursts" and accusations against the president and his administration in the press.

Brennan responded on Twitter, "This action is part of a broader effort by Mr. Trump to suppress freedom of speech & punish critics. It should gravely worry all Americans, including intelligence professionals, about the cost of speaking out. My principles are worth far more than clearances. I will not relent."

2.      How do you feel about an express lane with a toll on I-25?  Apparently, it’s going to happen and construction is set to begin next month.  This is on the 18 mile stretch between Monument and Castle Rock, proposed toll at this point is $2.25 and it’s set to open in 2022.  Yay!  More TOLLS!

3.      The Colorado Classic kicks off today at Mountain Plaza in Vail Village (8,150 feet above sea level), with women’s and men’s circuit races beginning at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., respectively.
