Queen Week: The G-Man's Top 5 Favorite Queen Tunes

October 30, 2018

It's QUEEN WEEK on 99.5 The Mountain!

I'm The G-Man, your host from 8pm- Midnight during the week. I'm also the host of our Rock-n-Jock feature as well as of the yearly Mountain Golf Tour. These are my absolute favorite Queen tunes.

5.  I'm in Love with my Car - People forget that Queen drummer Roger Taylor had a very unique voice and it's highlighted on this track from the LP: A NIGHT AT THE OPERA.

4. We Will Rock You/WE are the Champions - THE LIVE VERSION FROM "LIVE AID". Totally amazing hearing 100,000 fans at Wembley Stadium stomp their feet and clap their hands to WE Will Rock You. Then in an instant how quiet it got when Freddie Mercury sat down at the piano to compose and sing We Are The Champions.

3. Somebody To Love - The first song I ever heard on the radio from Queen. I remember thinking no guy can sing in that key. Mercury had one of the most unique voices in rock.

2. Another one Bites the Dust - Easily one of the Top 3 Bass lines in Rock History. It grabs your attention right from the start and never lets ya go!

1. Don't Stop Me Know- Mr. Fahrenheit - Have to agree with Allie Hartwick. You could be at the lowest point in your life and this classic makes you wanna dance and smile.

Bohemian Rhapsody offically opens Friday, November 2nd in theatres everywhere.
