David Bowie's Personal Art Collection To Be Displayed, Then Auctioned

July 20, 2016

David Bowie's personal art collection will be on display from November 1-10 at Sotheby's New Bork Street galleries in London. Review exhibitions will be held in New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Bowie amassed more than 400 pieces of art before he died and the collection will be sold in a three-part auction after the display.

The auction is expected to bring in more than $13 million, reported Billboard. Bowie died January 10 at the age of 69 after a battle with cancer.
