Three Things You Need to Know on September 24th

The U.N. General Assembly begins today in New York.  Upwards of 200 dignitaries are expected.  This morning President Trump addressed an event called the "Global Call to Action on the World Drug Problem."  More than 120 countries are already supporting the effort and the hope is to sway even more backers.   
Trump is also scheduled to meet today with South Korean President Moon Jae-in. 

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is facing a new allegation of sexual misconduct. The New Yorker reports a woman named Deborah Ramirez claims Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a party when he was a freshman at Yale. Ramirez says the incident happened at a alcohol-fueled dorm room party. Kavanaugh said in a statement that the allegation is a "smear, plain and simple." 

The Broncos are 2-1 on the season after taking the team's first loss yesterday 27-14 to the Ravens.  The Broncos had 14 points in the first quarter, but were held scoreless the rest of the way by the Baltimore defense.  Denver goes head to head with the Chiefs at home a week from tonight.
