Three Things You Need to Know on September 18th

Today is Day 3 of the United Auto Workers union strike against General Motors.  There's a report that GM's use of temporary workers is now a major issue as bargaining talks continue.  GM and other automakers would like to increase the number of temporary workers at their plants. 

Facebook is laying out plans for a new  Oversight Board for handling controversial posts.  The board will govern appeals from Facebook users and questions from the company itself.  Facebook plans to have the board in place and making decisions early next year.

A Denver man is okay after being lost on Pyramid Peak for more than two days.  Sixty-six-year-old Neil Brosseau was found yesterday afternoon. Brosseau became separated from other family members who were hiking in the area on Sunday.  The Pitkin County Sheriff's office said Brosseau appeared to be in good condition after being lost for two days.
