Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is reportedly at the White House this morning as he battles an allegation of sexual misconduct. Kavanaugh put out a new statement today, calling it a completely false allegation. Kavanaugh noted that he is willing to talk with senators to refute the allegation from 36 years ago, and to defend his integrity. A California woman is alleging that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school. 

Rescue efforts continue in flood-swept North Carolina, where what's left of Hurricane Florence has dumped historic levels of rain.  More than 900 people have been pulled out of harm's way and more than 15-thousand are still in emergency shelters.  Florence has killed at least 17 people. 

The Broncos are now 2-0 this season, courtesy of yesterday's 20-19 win over the Raiders.  The Broncos hit the road for the first time this season on Sunday, traveling to Baltimore to take on the Ravens.
