Three Things You Need to Know on October 24th

It appears as though one person has won last night's Mega Millions jackpot. However, the winner may not be getting as much money as they thought.  The one-point-six-billion dollar jackpot, the largest in U.S. history and sold in South Carolina, has been revised downward to a mere one-point-five-four billion dollars.  That's still the second-biggest jackpot ever. 

A lot of Coloradans have already turned in their ballots for this year's election.  The Colorado Secretary of State's Office released early ballot numbers yesterday.  Just under 58-thousand GOP voters have turned theirs in, compared to just over 55-thousand for the Democrats.  Just over 44-thousand unaffiliated voters have cast their ballots. Close to three milion ballots were mailed out, state-wide.

Chad Kelly's short stint as the Denver Broncos backup quarterback is over. The Broncos released Kelly today, after he  was arrested for tresspassing on Tuesday morning. General Manager Jphn ELway said in a statement that "...releasing Chad was the right thing to do."
