Three Things You Need to Know on October 23rd

What's going on with Amazon's HQ2? It's been a while since amazon shortened their list of possible locations for their second North American headquarters to 20 cities (yes, Denver is one of them). While Amazon has been fairly quiet about their search process, some cities have seem a little more interest from Amazon than others. While initially there was a visit to look at possible HQ locations in Denver, our city hasn't seen as many visits from Amazon as New York CIty or Newark have, leading some to believe the company is slightly more serious about a location on the east coast. Bummer.

Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas is addressing rumors he could be on his way out of Denver.  His name has come up as somebody the team could be looking to deal ahead of the NFL trade deadline.  Thomas says he wants to be in the Mile High City, but he feels there could be some truth to the rumors.  The NFL trade deadline is October 30th at 2 p.m Mountain Time.

There are more than a dozen state amendments and propositions up for consideration on the ballot this year in Colorado.  The Denver Public Library says staffers are available from now through Election Day to help answer questions you might have on some of those proposals.  The library also has several copies of the State Ballot Information Booklet if you've lost yours.
