The THanksgiving holiday weekend is basically underway, and traffic is going to be very heavy, especially on I-70 and near DIA. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving last year, a total of more than 44-thousand vehicles passed through the Eisenhower/Johnson Memorial Tunnels.  Westbound traffic on the corridor will especially be impacted today and Friday.  CDOT says eastbound traffic along I-70 is expected to be heaviest Saturday and Sunday. If you're flying out of Denver today, expect long lines and very full parking lots.

Over 800 people are still missing from the California wildfires today. The Camp Fire north of Sacramento has killed 81, and hundreds of people who were in the path of the wildfire are still unaccounted for. The number of missing people was 699 Monday - on Tuesday night, the number shot up to 870. 

President Trump says the U.S. relationship with Saudi Arabia is about "America first."  Trump told reporters at the White House yesterday that the Saudis do a lot of business with the U.S. and it would be a terrible mistake to cut ties with the Arab kingdom.  He said earlier that the U.S. will remain a steadfast ally of Saudi Arabia despite the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi consulate.
