It looks like Attorney General William Barr will not testify at today's House committee hearing.  In a statement, a Justice Department spokesman says Barr is skipping the hearing because of plans to have committee staffers question Barr, which the department called inappropriate, unnecessary and unprecedented. 

The popularity of e-scooters is causing a rise in head injuries.  A new report from the CDC says there's been a surge in emergency room visits for fractures, dislocations and head trauma since electric scooters have become widespread.  The report says head injuries top the list of accidents involving e-scooters.   

The cost of renting an apartment in the Mile High City is on the rise.  The latest report from ApartmentList shows prices in Denver proper are up two-percent for the month of April, compared to the same time last year.  The median price of a two-bedroom is 13-hundred-50-dollars a month.  While Denver's rents are climbing, they're still the cheapest in the metro area.  Lone Tree was the highest at just under two-thousand-dollars for a two-bedroom apartment.
