Weather in Denver is bad, but to the East, problems may be much worse. Forecasters say severe thunderstorms will soak and flood parts of Oklahoma and Kansas today.  Severe thunderstorms that could lead to flash floods are forecast today from the mid-Mississippi River Valley into Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.

Rallies in support of a woman's right to an abortion are being held in every single state today.  At noon local time, advocates will be at various locations across the nation to speak out against abortion bans and to promote reproductive freedom.  The hashtag-stop-the-bans movement is being sponsored by groups like the ACLU and Planned Parenthood.

Ballots are heading to voter mailboxes for the runoff election in the Denver mayor's race.  The Denver Elections Division is encouraging voters to put their ballots in the mail by May 25th to ensure they will be delivered by June 4th.  Voters can also drop off ballots at 28 drop box locations around the city anytime between now and the election.  The race between Mayor Michael Hancock and challenger Jamie Giellis isn't the only one going to a runoff.  Five City Council races are also up in the air.
