Three Things You Need to Know on May 1st

The man accused of killing two students at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte is charged with murder.  Four others were injured in the shooting inside a campus building late Tuesday afternoon.  Authorities announced early this morning that Trystan Terrell is charged with two counts of murder and four counts of attempted murder.  

Attorney General William Barr is expected to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee this morning.  Democrats have accused Barr of misrepresenting key findings in the final report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller before the redacted version of the report was released.  

The Pepsi Center will be busy again tonight! The Nuggest take on the Portland Trailblazers in Game Two of the Western Conference semifinals. Last night, The Avs lost to the San Jose Sharks by 4-2 at the Pepsi Center.  The loss snapped a nine-game home winning streak for the Avs.  Colorado will get a chance to even things up at home tomorrow night, with the puck scheduled to drop at 8 p.m.
