Three Things You Need to Know on March 11th

A team from the National Transportation Safety Board is on the way to Africa to help investigate the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines jet that killed all 157 people on board, including eight Americans. The passengers and crew died when the plane crashed just minutes after takeoff Sunday morning. 

The White House releases President Trump's 2020 fiscal year budget today.  The plan calls for eight-point-six billion dollars for Trump's wall on the border with Mexico 
It also proposes 750-billion dollars in military spending and five-percent cuts for all non-defense domestic programs. 

If you're heading to the mountains today, there's still a considerable risk of avalanches.  That's according to the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.  In the last week, there's been a historic snow slide cycle in the state.  That's been especially true in the back country.  Avalanches have even shut down I-70 in recent days.  CDOT was doing mitigation work yesterday along that stretch of roadway.
