President Trump is said to have sent a message to Iran that an attack was imminent yesterday. Reuters is reporting that Iranian officials say the message was sent through intermediaries in the region and said the president was against war and would prefer to talk. Trump ended up calling off the military strike as planes were already in the air. The action, had it been carried out, would have been in response to the attack of an American drone by Iran earlier this week. 

Politics are crazy all over! Republican state senators in Oregon are skipping out on work to avoid a vote on a climate change bill.  Governor Kate Brown released a statement saying the eleven lawmakers, whose whereabouts are unknown, have decided to abandon their duty to serve their constituents.  Officers have reportedly been told they can arrest the senators if they refuse to return willfully.

At least two City of Denver employees are on leave in connection with last weekend's brawl at a youth baseball game in Lakewood.  The fight broke out Saturday at Westgate Elementary School.  The city says the two employees are under investigation for their alleged involvement.  A total of five men have been cited for disorderly conduct in connection with the on-field battle at Saturday's game.
