A bill is moving through Congress that would permanently extend funding for the 9-11 Victims Compensation Fund.  The House Judiciary Committee voted unanimously on the bill Wednesday. The vote comes a day after comedian Jon Stewart blasted members of a Judiciary subcommittee for not being present for testimony from 9-11 first responders. The bill needs to pass the Congressional Budget Office before it can get a full vote in the House, but is expected to pass.  

Legal marijuana continues to be a cash crop for Colorado.  The state Department of Revenue says more than a billion-dollars in taxes, fees and licenses has been taken in since recreational sales started in 2014.  Sales during that time have totaled up to more than six-point-five-billion-dollars.  The figures were released yesterday. 

The St. Louis Blues are celebrating their first Stanley Cup championship.  The Blues beat the Bruins 4-1 in Game Seven of the Stanley Cup Final in Boston Wednesday night.  The Blues had been 0-and-3 all-time in Stanley Cup Finals.
