Three Things You Need to Know on July 19th

It's going to be hot today in Denver! The high is expected to be near 100, approaching the record of 101 set back in 2005.  The National Weather Service says temperatures will remain in the mid-90s at least through Saturday.  Things could be slightly cooler on Sunday, so you'll have to wait until then to stop sweating. 

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is facing backlash today for comments he made that seemingly defended Holocaust deniers.  In an interview with the online tech website Recode, Zuckerberg said he found Holocaust denial "deeply offensive," but they would not be banned from Facebook.  In a follow up email, Zuckerberg said he didn't intend to defend people who deny the Holocaust. He said Facebook does not want to ban people from expressing their opinion, but will work to stop fake news from spreading on their social media sites. 

Forbes has released their list of the 50 most valuable sports franchises in the world. The Denver Broncos ranked at number 23 this year at a value of two-point-six-billion-dollars, and tied with the Chicago Bulls in value.  The Dallas Cowboys took the top spot for the third straight year at nearly five-billion-dollars.
