Three Things You Need to Know on August 13th

A Montana man is the first person to die on Denver streets while riding an electric scooter.  Police say 26-year-old Cameron Hagan was recently pronounced dead after colliding with a Honda Civic on August 4th.  Investigators believe he was riding carelessly at the time.  No one was charged in the crash. 

The Trump administration is finishing a rollback of protections for endangered species.  The rollback opens the door for new oil and gas drilling, mining and development.  In a statement, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said the rollback will ease regulatory burdens while still protecting wildlife.  Environmental groups are expected to take the matter to court. 

Fall is more than a month away, but both Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks are bringing back the Pumpkin Spice Latte this month.  Dunkin' will premiere its new fall menu items featuring the famed latte August 21st, while Starbucks will be bringing back the PSL August 27th.
