Three Things You Need to Know on April 3rd

April 3, 2019

Former Vice President Joe Biden is fending off accusations of two more women who say he touched them inappropriately. The New York Times reports a former college student and sexual assault survivor, and a writer have come forward with new accusations, bringing the total to four. The alleged incidents are said to have happened three years ago and in 2012.

Actors Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin are due in a Boston courtroom today.  Huffman and Loughlin are scheduled to face a judge in the massive college admissions cheating scandal.  The actors are charged with giving money to a Southern California businessman who routed it to coaches to get their kids into elite universities.

The Colorado Avalanche need only one more point to secure a playoff berth.  The Avs helped their case last night with a six-to-two win over Edmonton and they got some help as Los Angeles defeated Arizona.  That means the Avs can clinch a playoff spot tomorrow at home against Winnipeg.  Puck drop for that game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Mountain Time.
