Sri Lanka is blaming a domestic jihadist group for the wave of attacks that killed nearly 300 people on Easter morning. At least 290 people were killed in a series of suicide bombings at Christian churches as well as hotels popular with Westerners. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.

The Columbine High School community is reflecting on 20 years since the 1999 shooting that killed 13 people.  A remembrance ceremony was held over the weekend at Clement Park.  It included a video appearance by former President Bill Clinton who reflected on meeting many of the survivors in the days following the shooting.  Some of those impacted by the shooting say they believe the community has grown stronger, despite the tragedy.

Today is Earth Day.  It's the anniversary of the birth of the environmental movement.  Earth Day looks to inspire new ideas and bring people to action.  There will be events held all over the world today.
