Three Things You Need to Know on March 15th

Devastating news from New Zealand this morning as 49 people were killed in shootings at two separate mosques during prayers on Friday. Police Commissioner Mike Bush says the vast majority of the victims were killed at one mosque in Christchurch. One man has already been charged with murder and three others are in custody. At least 48 other people were injured in the attacks. 

The Hallmark Channel is cutting ties with Lori Loughlin because of the college cheating scandal.  The actress was part of the Hallmark series "When Calls the Heart," and was the hero of the channel's movie series, "Garage Sale Mysteries."  Loughlin is among the dozens of parents accused in the bribery scheme to get their children into elite universities.   

Major interstates are open surrounding Denver following Wednesday's bomb cyclone blizzard.  Interstate 70 from Aurora to the Kansas border was back open early yesterday afternoon after being shut down since Wednesday.  Traffic was also able to get moving along I-25 between Castle Rock and Monument later in the day.  That roadway was clogged with snow and more than 150 abandoned or disabled vehicles.  Interstate 76 in northeastern Colorado also reopened yesterday.
