Friday

Cherry Creek North Sidewalk Sale

Everyone knows some of Denver's best shopping is in Cherry Creek. This weekend, over 90 stores will take to the streets, or to the sidewalk, with huge discounts on tons of great stuff. Get there early to snag a steal!

Chicken Agility and Costume Contest

The Denver County Fair kicks off on Friday! Along with all of the great food and rides, there are tons of special events, including a chicken agility contest. Watch our feathered friends find their way through a bit of an obstacle course, and check out some of the Fair's other attractions while you're there.

Golden Girls Roller Skate Party

Imagine you're in Blanche, Rose, Dorothy and Sophia's living room, wearing roller skates, and dancing. You don't have to imagine at this month's ROLL. Five bucks will get you skates and a good time at EXDO Event center and Tracks.

Hooplager's Lager Hoopla

Stock up on sunscreen and get out to celebrate all things lager at Wibby Brewing in Longmont. There will be giant pools with floaties, a beach, a silent disco! Calling this party a Hoopla may be an understatement! Bring a non-perishable food item to donate, because this party is also a food drive!

The Cat Crawl

If you've been looking for an excuse to dress like a cat and parade around Cap Hill, you've got one! The Cat Crawl starts and Bang Up to the Elephant, and participants are encouraged to wear their best feline costume (while drinking like a human). Proceeds benefit the Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue.

The LoDOlympics

Disappointed that drinking isn't an Olympic sport? You're not alone. Round up a team of four and compete in serious events like Flip Cup, Corhole and Beer Pong. While this is a CU Alumni affiliated event, you don't have to have gone to CU to compete! Registration starts and Hayters, and the party wraps at Blake St. Tavern.

Slow Food Nations

This multi-day festival wraps on Sunday, but you can avoid the crazy Saturday crowds, and still sample all the foods, by hitting up Sunday's events. There are talks, tutorials, and plenty of foods to taste!
