First Friday Art Walk

The first Friday of each month, Denver's art districts (Santa Fe, RiNo, Tennyson, Belmar etc.) offer up free admission! Galleries get a little crowded, but each district has plenty of bars and restaurants scattered throughout, so you can wait it out over a beer or two!

Alamo Encore: The Princess Bride

Everyone's favorite fairytale is playing at the Alamo this weekend! While you could probably catch Wesley and Buttercup on your couch, It's simply more fun to watch Inigo Montoya avenge his father's death on the big screen. Plus, Alamo Drafthouse is one of those amazing theaters that serves you food and drinksm right at your seat. It's great for a date night, or a casual evening with friends. Basically, it's as you wish.

Brews for Water in Ecuador

Do you like clean water? Do you like beer? Then this event is a no-brainer. Engineers Without Borders Dever chapter is hosting a fundraiser at Factotum Brewhouse in Sunnyside to raise money for their clean water project in Ecuador. There's live music, a food truck, and a bunch of locally made beer. We go out for drinks so often, why not make it count for something good this time?

Goats in Rino: Groundhog Day

Will we have an early spring, or six more weeks of winter? Who cares when you can watch a Bill Murray classic, pet a goat and snuggle a puppy. You can do all three of those things at Goats In RiNo, at LFX Filmworks this weekend. The event starts at 5:00 on Saturday, and the movie starts at 6:30. The proceeds from this screening and snuggle, go to help Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary. They rescue abused, neglected and discarded animals from the farm industries and give them a happy life here in Colorado.

$5 Haircuts at Union Station

Need a haircut? Floyd's 99 is opening a new location in Union Station, so they are giving out dirt cheap haircuts to celebrate. It gets better, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to local non-profit, Youth on Record. THey will have have drinks and music, so its basically a hair party!

Foul-Mouthed Cross Stitching at Grandma's House

Feeling crafty? Wanna stab something over and over and over...? Great news! Grandma's House, the cute little brewery that takes you right back to nights at your Nan's, will give you the opportunity to do exactly that. They provide the supplies, provided you buy a beer.
