February 8, 2019

Friday, February 8th

Denver Mac & Cheese Fest

Can you think of anything more wonderful than spending an evening, surrounded by macaroni and cheese? Neither can we, especially since it's been frigid, and we're all in need of a comfort food warm-up! Number 38 in RiNo will be Mac and Cheese HQ of Friday, so grab a ticket, and a fork.

Tickets can be found here.

Ratio Beerworks Turns 4!

free

RiNo is home to so many breweries, why not let Ratio know how special they are by stopping by their birthday party?! The celebrations technically go all weekend, and there's a great lineup of live music and food trucks to enjoy. You can eat, drink, listen and celebrate locally!

Here's some more info.

Saturday, February 9th

Rebellion Clothing Swap

If you've been watching Marie Kondo, and you find nothing in your closet brings you joy, here's a great way to get rid of things you just aren't loving anymore, and trade them in for something new (that's used). Bring your gently worn clothes to ReCreative on Santa Fe from 2-5, and see what you can trade them for! There will also be food, drinks and a photobooth!

Get more info here.

80's/90's Hangar Dance Party

Wings over the Rockies lies low in Lowry, but is host to some killer parties. THis particular night will be full of the best jams from the 80's and 90's. COstumes are encouraged, so bring out your overalls and Doc Martens!

Harry Potter Beer Festival

The Church downtown (no, not an actual place of worship) will transform into the Great Hall for an evening of beers inspired by the Boy Who Lived. Accio glass, muggles!

Gather your Galleons for tickets here.

Don't Tell Comedy

$20

All these events too mainstream for you? Well, how does a secret show, with secret performers in a secret location sound? If that's the kind of thing that motivates you to get dressed for a night out, Don't Tell COmedy is your scene. Tickets must be purchased in advance, but the location of the show isn't revealed until the day of, via email. A little suspense can be fun, just hope the performers are funny!

Sunday, February 10th

Silent Book Club

free

Maybe big dance parties and beer festivals aren't your thing, and that's totally cool. Just because some people prefer the company of a book to that of actual people doesn't mean there aren't events for them too! The Second Sunday of every month, BookBar on Tennyson hosts a Silent Book Club. Bring or buy a book, grab a space in their cozy shop, and enjoy half off coffee and drinks from 4:30-6!

More info here.
